Piers Eady joins 4media group to head up its news generation offering as Head of News. Piers joins from The Daily Mirror, where he was most recently Deputy News Editor. The newly formed role has been created to help the agency’s clients develop their stories to give them the best chance of landing coverage in print and online publications. Drawing on his experience of working for a national newspaper, 4media group will be able to advise on the strongest angles to catch the eye of print and digital newsdesks.
Eady started his journalism career at the National News Press Agency before joining the Hampstead & Highgate Express as crime reporter, before becoming local government reporter and then news editor.
For the past 14 years he has worked for Trinity Mirror, on the newsdesks of both the Sunday and Daily Mirror titles, with the past two years as The Daily Mirror’s Deputy News Editor.
