Pivotal role in the finance department of 4media group overseeing the P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, and US financial operations.

As part of our Finance and Operations team, the role involves leadership and oversight of finance and accounting team members. Reporting into the CFO you will also have a direct line into the Global COO and CEO.

This role is critical in leading the current financial team and managing all financial process of the Company in its current form, as well as positioning the team and processes for the Company’s ongoing significant growth.

• Overall responsibility for accounting team, processes, and systems including GL, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and financial reporting
• Perform daily bank reconciliations in Sage/Intacct
• Perform month end review of P&L and Balance Sheet ensuring that all journals, accruals and deferrals are properly posted in a timely manner
• Balance sheet reconciliations for relevant accounts
• Maintain US Asset register and depreciation as per policy
• Provide P&L variance analysis to CFO on a monthly basis
• Perform and communicate weekly cashflow forecasts
• Work with COO to calculate monthly commissions and communicate to Human Resources/Payroll management partner
• Coordinate semi-monthly payroll with Human Resources/Payroll management partner
• Approval of Overhead and Project purchase orders
• Set up and process approved payments for 4media Inc
• Review Client and Supplier contracts where required
• Support COO and CFO with audit and tax requirements
• Review and make recommendations on policy (expenses, revenue recognition, assets and depreciation)
• Support Client Finance Analyst to ensure that all credit card expenses are reconciled
• Ad hoc support on projects
• Active leader in future financial systems selection and implementation process

• Be a strong role model in the finance department and have the ability to communicate with the wider company on all finance matters
• Be a self-starter with the ability to work on your own

• 5+ years accounting experience. CPA or CPA qualified is preferred, but not required
• Robust Excel expertise – exercise your ability to build and use complex formulas
• Accounting software proficiency (SAGE Intacct a big plus) and demonstrated ability to learn new systems and technologies
• Salesforce – able to run and build key reports on sales performance
