Overview

The 2020 holidays were unlike any we have experienced, a leading vegetable brand wanted to remind everyone that the spirit of the holidays would remain a constant, and that family traditions provide comfort and togetherness which are two things that were more important than ever. Making family meals and eating together were still possible during the 2020 holiday season.

Challenge

An A-list celebrity, an actress and a mom, teamed up with the brand to share how she planned to prepare her favorite Thanksgiving and holiday meals and recipes.

Solution

4media worked with the brand to conduct a virtual satellite media tour (SMT). To ensure the on-set recipes were featured during the interviews, we worked with the onsite food stylist to capture b-roll of the set over Zoom and then shared it with booked stations. This approach enabled our team to capture the on-set visuals while complying with the CDC guidelines on social distancing and keeping the number of people on the set to a minimum.

Outcome

For this SMT, our team booked TV interviews in New York, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Sacramento, Tampa, St. Louis, Portland, and Phoenix.
