AARP Voter Education Campaign

Overview: AARP’s national headquarters is in Washington DC, but the nonprofit organization also has an office in every state. In an effort to get out the vote as well as address the issues that most concern older Americans, AARP engages 4media to book local TV and radio interviews for the AARP State Directors.

Impact and Success: During the 2022 election year, AARP’s local media campaign generated over 900 broadcast placements.  In 2023, 4media garnered over 700 broadcast placements featuring the State Directors for an initiative focused on caregiving legislation. In election year 2024, 4media has secured over 95 broadcasts so far.

Conclusion: The AARP State Directors campaigns reinforce the idea that local talent, coupled with locally relevant information leads to a phenomenal media response which, in turn, has a tremendous impact on the community.
