“Cattle Calling” is an episodic docuseries produced by the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) and funded by the Beef Checkoff, dedicated to telling the authentic stories of the men and women who raise cattle across the USA.
Following a successful collaboration with 4media group on media tours, NCBA approached 4media to take the lead on Cattle Calling’s production. Leveraging 4media’s storytelling expertise, this expanded partnership focused on elevating the voices of cattle producers and building greater awareness, transparency and appreciation for their work and way of life.
Together, NCBA and 4media group created these episodes to connect viewers to the heart of American cattle country, where cattle ranching is a deeply rooted way of life shaped by family, tradition and an unwavering commitment to the land and animals under their care.
Solutions:
- 4media provided end-to-end production support rooted in strategy, precision and respect for the subject matter.
- In the earliest phases of pre-production, 4media facilitated consultation sessions with the NCBA team and held direct phone interviews with featured ranchers to ensure authentic representation.
- The 4media team managed logistical coordination for each episode across multiple locations, organizing crews, sourcing vendors and conducting pre-calls to align on creative direction and on-the-ground needs.
- As a strategic partner, 4media provided creative video direction, scripted 30+ minute episodes and delivered fully produced trailers and final episodes.
The 4media Difference:
