As a New Business Sales Development Representative, you will be integral to identifying and securing new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and managing key client relationships. You will work alongside a senior sales team, using your communication and strategic sales skills to build a robust pipeline of leads, close new business, and ensure client satisfaction. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Develop and execute targeted lead generation across various channels (e.g., email, phone, LinkedIn, Engage).
  • Strategic Planning: Conduct research and identify potential clients within specific industries and target markets.
  • Sales Support: Provide qualified leads and schedule initial meetings for sales representatives and observe seller for personal development and to stay informed on product/service offerings and industry trends.
  • Reporting & Insights: Leverage CRM systems to track and manage lead information, activities, and progress.

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Industry Expertise: 1+ years of experience in new business sales or lead generation within the marketing and public relations industry (preferred).
  • Adaptability & Initiative: Ambitious, driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Work Ethic: Demonstrates a strong work ethic, a results-oriented approach, and a commitment to exceeding expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in inside sales, business development, or lead generation roles.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Skills: Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, ZoomInfo).
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
