We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Senior Account Supervisor to join our team and manage high-profile accounts.

Position Summary:

The Senior Account Supervisor (SAS) will lead and manage public relations efforts for multiple clients, particularly in the retail, consumer-packaged goods, and lifestyle sectors. The ideal candidate will have experience working on retail brands, luxury accounts, and marketing to women. This role requires a strong sense of client service, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage both tactical projects and strategic programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Act as the day-to-day client contact, fostering client-agency relationships to build trust and become a valuable resource to clients.
  • PR Strategy: Develop and execute PR strategies, maintain relationships with industry and business media, and proactively develop story ideas and pitch angles.
  • Media Relations: Maintain relationships with media contacts, especially those covering beauty, retail and luxury sectors, and develop familiarity with social media channels reaching enthusiasts.
  • Content Development: Develop a full range of written materials, including client correspondence, press releases, media pitches, reports, and presentations that communicate programming recommendations and the success of completed projects.
  • Trend Analysis: Analyze media trends to develop insights and points of view that inform client programming.
  • Project Management: Plan and implement account activities such as special events, media events, media relations, social media, desk-side briefings, and program implementation.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate team resources, create opportunities for junior staff to take on more responsibility, and utilize agency resources to create the best teams for clients.
  • Budget Management: Develop and monitor program plans and budgets for profitability, reporting status to client and agency management regularly.
  • Client Knowledge: Build understanding and knowledge of clients’ business and competitive environments, applying this information to prepare and present strategically focused programs and recommendations.
  • Research Coordination: Develop an understanding of research methods, coordinate internal and external resources to support client projects.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field preferred. A Master’s degree in a communications field is desirable.
  • Experience: 7+ years of agency and/or corporate public relations experience, with at least three years of supervisory experience.
  • Location: Bentonville, AR (preferred), but open to Remote for the right candidate.

    • Ability to work in a multi-faceted, fast-paced environment.
