The “STEM Defines the Future” series truly was a collaborative effort, from being on set for a week to animation buildouts and then the actual scripting and editing of the series. The 8-video series focused on employees from six different plants across Michigan and Ohio, leaning into their soft skills in tandem with their skillset.

“With over 20+ interviews, 8+ crew, 6 locations and 4 full shoot days, this project was no easy task,” said Samantha Avent, Senior Producer – Creative at 4media group. “However, when you have a team mentality and a powerful message, the end result can be magic. As a storyteller, being able to inspire the younger generation to explore STEM avenues in their future was important to the entire team, and I believe that passion showed through the videos in this series!”

Her production teammates agree.

“With a production this detailed, being able to rely on your coworkers is critical,” said Amanda Yates, Senior Editor at 4media group. “The problem-solving and trust we have on our team shows; I’m excited to see what’s next.”

“Working with my co-editors on such a vast project was so fulfilling!” shared Briana Pierrot, Creative Editor at 4media group. “Our collaboration proved itself with the earning of this Telly award!”
